State of Ohio v. Antoine Tolbert

The People's Press is in the midst of covering the State of Ohio v. Antoine Tolbert multi-week trial.

As opening statements unfold in the trial of three New Era Cleveland organizers, defense attorneys argue the case reflects a long-standing legal pattern of criminalizing Black activism.

This is a summary of the first week's proceedings.

First People's Distro

The Cleveland community held their first People's Distribution aka "The People's Distro." Taken place in front of the New Era Clubhouse, their mission is to help take care of our community more directly. This is the first of many distributions. Be sure to keep an eye out for future ones!

A "Freeze" Is Not Enough

After many months of packing the Cuyahoga County Administrative Headquarters, Clevelanders are once again faced with their tax dollars going towards Israel bonds instead of their communities. A temporary freeze in multi-million dollar bonds is not enough.

DSA CWRU 11 Fundraiser
